Mael & Mael

As you can see from the photo in the previous post on this blog, I am a Sparks fan. Just got to see them TWO nights in a row on their Revenge of Two Hands, One Mouth Tour. I can only compare it to seeing Springsteen play solo in 2005 (though Sparks didn't make me cry like a baby the way Bruce did). There is something so special about witnessing people strip down and present their work in its barest form.
These two songs really stuck out and stuck in my head and I can't seem to dislodge them...

Now imagine these tunes done with just vocals and keys. Gorgeous! Haunting! What brave dudes!
